Today Mitch Bruneel announced that he would be signing with Utah State this weekend. This makes four commitments this year for Idaho Select players.
In addition to Bruneel (Idaho Select 2008, 2007), Tyson Percifield (Idaho Select 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008) signed at Carroll College, Daved Gillmor (Idaho Select 2010, 2009) signed at Northwest Christian and Joey Nebeker (Idaho Select 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008) has verbally committed to play at Boise State in 2012-2013.
Bruneel most recently played at the College of Southern Idaho where the Golden Eagles won the NJCAA National Championship and he was selected to the all-tournament team. He played at Eagle High School and was the 2008 Gatorade Player of the Year. He first made a splash on the national scene when he scored 33 points against the Compton Magic in the Spring of 2008 when playing for Idaho Select’s top team.
