Columbia at Meridian Recap

Both teams started slow. Columbia would eventually move out to a 15-11 first half lead. Most of their points were generated through offensive rebounds thanks to a major size advantage.

Meridian was in danger of losing control until Isaac Sienknecht gave them a spark off the bench. Four points later the Warriors were back in it.

The third quarter was slow but as they moved to the fourth, it was Meridian’s defense that would make a difference. Connor Bird took several charges and then got a few buckets on offense. Eventually they would pull away and get a 33-29 win over Columbia.
