Following great performances this summer, several Idaho Select players have elevated their basketball recruiting stock. Here’s a look at current players and their Idaho Select Division I recruiting, including offers and commitments.
Players that have committed

Jared Samuelson, 2015, University of Montana – the 2015 small forward had some impressive games for Idaho Select this summer, showing that he possesses the ability to play at the Division I level.
Tres Tinkle, 2015, Oregon State University – Tinkle was a steady string of impressive performances all spring and summer. In addition to the five tournaments he played with Idaho Select, he also had great showings at the LeBron James Skills Academy, NBPA Top 100 and Kevin Durant Skills Academy. Despite interest and offers from other schools, the small forward decided he wanted to play for his dad in the Pac 12, ending his Idaho Select Division I recruiting on September 2.

Players that currently have offers
Stefan Gonzalez, 2015 – Gonzalez started the spring with offers from Eastern Washington and Idaho State. But after an impressive spring and summer, including great performances against other top talent around the country, his number of offers went way up. And he is still garnering serious recruitment from other schools. He just finished an official visit to Montana (along with teammate Jared Samuelson) and has several more lined up. Brendan Howard, 2017 – the young power forward played up on Idaho Select’s 16U team but had no trouble producing against older players. His hard work earned him an offer from Montana State.
Stay tuned as we expect another offer or two to be announced over the next couple of weeks.
Updated September 15, 2014 – Tre’von Allen, 2016 has received his first Division I offer from the University of Idaho.
