Weekly headlines are back! This season we will be cruising around the northwest from Seattle, Washington to Cheyenne, Wyoming.
This week featured standout basketball performances across the region. Karson Maze led Mead with 16 points against Southridge and 25 in their next win. Asher Williams impressed with 24 points in Bonners Ferry’s opener, followed by 33 against East Valley. Jack Payne powered the Vandals with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals, while Tyler Robinett earned CCC Defensive Player of the Week honors with 5 blocks. Other notable performances included Rey Johnston’s 27 points in Loyola’s 40th straight win, Boden Howell’s 18 points in Owyhee’s victory over a top-ranked Texas team, and Nash Humpherys reaching 1,000 career points.
