CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND: Standout Performances Light Up Northwest Courts
Back-to-back titles, career milestones, and tournament heroics across Idaho, Montana & Washington
This week’s basketball roundup features standout high school and college performances across the Northwest. Multiple state tournaments saw impressive individual performances, with Asher Williams of Bonners Ferry scoring 24 points to secure a second straight championship. Other notable achievements include Isaiah Jones leading Baker City back to state with 20 points, and Owyhee claiming back-to-back titles behind Boden Howell’s 19 points. Several players posted 20+ point games, with standout performances from Jemai Lake (32 points) and Asher Williams (31 points) highlighting an exciting week in regional basketball.

- Bonners Ferry: Won second straight state title with 24 points from Asher Williams Link
- Owyhee: Secured back-to-back state titles with 19 points from Boden Howell Link
- Baker City: Returned to defend state championship with 20 points from Isaiah Jones Link

- Snake River: Marcus Coombs scored 19 in state title game Link; earlier advanced to finals with 17 points Link
