This Week’s Headlines

Caden Symons (Coeur d’Alene): Hit his 1,000th career point, then finished with 37 points including the game winner to lead Coeur d’Alene over Ferris. Source | Source

Ethan Rivas (Glendive): Dropped 36 points as Glendive got the win. Source

Ralli Roetcisoender (Kendrick): Scored 34 points in the Avista Holiday Tournament Championship game, though Lewiston took the title behind Royce Fisher’s 30 points. Fisher was named tournament MVP and Nathan Tweit was selected to the all-tournament team. Earlier in the tournament, Roetcisoender grabbed a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds as Kendrick advanced to the semi-finals. Source | Source

Cashton Bodman (Post Falls): Scored 32 points alongside Jaxon Lysne’s 27 in a Post Falls win. Source

Logan Roos (Sandpoint): Scored 27 points in one game, then posted 23 points with 9 rebounds alongside Logan Iverson’s 5 assists as Sandpoint got a win over Wenatchee. Source | Source

Bubba Palacol (Everett): Posted a double-double with 24 points and 10 assists, then added 21 points in another Everett win. Source | Source

Dougie Peoples (College of Idaho): Scored 22 points alongside Rey Johnston’s 17 in a Yotes win. Source

Sulay Abubakari (Bonners Ferry): Scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for Bonners Ferry. Source

Tracen Jilot (Montana State-Northern): Posted 21 points as Montana State-Northern got a win. Source

Sam Sivulich (Snow College): Posted 15 points and 5 assists for Snow. Source

Tournament Honors:

  • Grant Wardenaar named Tempe division MVP and Nate Miner named Cactus division MVP, with Johnny Spielman selected to the All-Tournament team. Source
  • Jordan Carlson selected to The Holiday Classic All Tournament Team. Source
