Idaho Select teams continue success at Best of the Summer

In the second leg of our journey, Idaho Select teams made the most of the Best of the Summer tournament in Anaheim, California. The biggest west coast tournament in the country is hosted by Double Pump brings in the best teams from California, Washington, Nevada and Arizona.

Anthony Davis Select Adds Another Final Four at Best of the Summer

The Anthony Davis Select team continued to roll in California, going 3-0 in pool play at the Best of the Summer and then advancing to the Final Four for a final record of 6-1. The guys got another set of significant wins with victories over EYBL competitor California Supreme, SoCal All Stars and Pump N Run Elite. In both the Elite Eight and Final Four, college coaches packed in to see this group compete. Their record for the spring and summer moves to 23-5.

Idaho Select White Makes Another Solid Run

The White team continued to win more games in the Best of the Summer Gold division. They finished 3-0 in pool play to qualify for the Championship Bracket and then got a solid first round win.

Red and Blue Both Win Their 16U Pools

Both the Idaho Select 16U teams proved that they are are great match up for any team. The Red team finished 3-0 to win their pool and the Blue team finished 2-1 but won their pool based on a large tie breaking point differential. Both teams would get first round wins at in the Best of the Summer 16U Championship Brackets and the Red team would eventually make it to the Elite Eight.

Don’t Sleep on the Gold

These guys are good. They followed up Seattle with another impressive run at the Best of the Summer, going 2-1 in pool play, qualifying them for the 15U Championship Bracket.

On to Las Vegas and the Fab 48

Next up for the guys is a trip to Las Vegas and competing in the Fab 48. But before they get back on the floor, they had a few days to enjoy the beach and take in the NBA Summer League Championship game. For a few pictures from the trip, check out our Facebook page by clicking here.
